It's the first week of the #31DC2018Weekly and we are starting it off with Red Nails. Since it is the very first challenge prompt, I feel like I took it easy. My creative juices aren't flowing at top speed just yet. But even easy nail art is fun, right? I did a simple double accent nail manicure using some pretty water decals for Week 1.
I used two nail polishes in this look. The shimmery metallic red with orange undertones is AEngland "Gloriana" which is just gorgeous. It has golden metallic microflakes inside that really make it shine. The base for the rose water decals is a nude creme from the Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure line called "Stocking Nude". You can see it peeking through the clear backed water decals from Nicole Diary. Everything is topped off with a glossy top coat.
A simple mani but still pretty. Water decals are always a easy way to make a fun manicure that looks like you spent a lot of time on it. If you want to keep up with everyone else doing the challenge this year or want in join in yourself, be sure to use the tag #31DC2018Weekly on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. Plus...be sure to check out what my German bestie, Lotte, is creating each week on her blog!
Thanks for stopping by!
