I have some crazy fantastic news. Crazy news! I feel like I have unlocked the best blogger achievement ever. I have collaborated with KBShimmer to create a polish for the Fall 2017 Collection. What the what?!?!?
KBShimmer is the biggest and best known indie polish maker in the business (at least I think so). I was unbelievably excited to be added to their regular blogger list 2 years ago. But being asked to create a new shade of nail polish with them is like beyond amazing. I really hope you love "Pearls Gone Wild" as much as I do. Squeeee!!!
Pearls Gone Wild - A soft grey jelly base packed with silver holographic microglitter and a red shifting shimmer. This is the Mega Flame formula that we all know and love with some added shifting shimmer. The shimmer shifts from a warm red to copper to gold at an angle. Application is smooth and removal is not totally awful like you would expect with a glitter polish. A glossy top coat is recommended as there is a very slight texture to this shade when it dries down. I am showing you two coats with Clearly On Top here.
My inspiration for this polish was cool toned grey with warm opalescent accents. I had visions of raw, rough opal stones and photos of the Milky Way peaking out of a dim grey sky. We all know I love a good grey polish. They are my fave! So Christy and I worked together to find the perfect finish and the best combo of cool and warm tones. I am super happy with what we came up with! That red shimmer flashing through that cool grey sparkly base fits my vision perfectly. What do you think?!
