We are taking a look at the Week 7 polishes in the Road to Polish Con series today. The Polish Convention is being help in Chicago this September and each week leading up to the even there are exclusive polishes available from indie brands attending the convention. Currently, you can get Week 6 polishes up through Saturday. But starting on Sunday, you will be able to purchase three new shades from Alter Ego, Native War Paints and Painted Polish. Let's take a look at these three pretty polishes!
Does the Ducky Derby by Alter Ego - A lemon-line green linear holographic. This is an interesting color of green. It is light but bright and leans very yellow. The holo effect is intense here. The formula is slightly squishy. I am showing you two thicker coats with glossy top coat but some people may prefer three thinner coats.
Candied Apples by Native War Paints - A dark rosy red with bright turquoise shimmer. Oh...#datshimmer! I really like this color combo of pink and green here. The formula is very nice. I am showing you two coats with glossy top coat for this swatch.
From the Pier, With Love by Painted Polish - A bright cerulean blue holographic with silver holographic microglitters and a bright pink flash. This is a nice shade of blue that is accented nicely with the extra pink shimmer. That flash comes out nicely at an angle. The formula was on the squishy side as well. I am showing you two coats with glossy top coat here.
Another fun trio of exclusive shades here! There is something for everyone and the colors work year round. All of the Road to Polish Con colors are available for $10 each. There are several shipping options available to suit your purchasing style. You will be able to purchase these three polishes from The Polish Convention site from 8/13 - 8/19 only. Be sure to check back here each Thursday for a look at the upcoming week's exclusives!
