I have a great indie brand to share today that has been in the game for a long time and well known for glow in the dark polishes. Serum No. 5 makes amazing polishes. They has taken a short break but are back at this year with a small collection of glow in the dark thermals with names to empower women. I, too, am part of the pantsuit nation and the names of these polishes bring back that spark of hope for women It has been super hot in Florida and my short nails made transition photos near impossible. So I will be showing you the warm/cold states on two nails. Let's take a look at these beauties!
The glow in the dark effect was a weakest with his shade. But it had the most interesting color. I would not have expected this silvery purple to glow peach.
Warm state on the left with the icy lavender shade. Cold start on the right with the pinky purple holo.
Shattered Glass Ceilings - A silvery minty blue holographic with blue/green ultrachrome flakies that glow bright electric blue in the dark. This shade transitions from an almost silver blue to a daker cornflower blue when it gets cold. The formula was quite nice and I am showing you two coats with a glossy top coat here.
Seeing the flakies stand out with the glow effect if very nice. This glowed quite brightly in the dark.
Warm state is a slightly minty toned icy blue holo. Cold state is a darker cornflower blue holo.
Yes, She Can - A pink crelly with pink speckled microflakies that glow a dark pink in the dark. This shade is supposed to be almost white when warm and a dark carnation pink when cold but I wasn't able to get it white. Just a light pink. The formula was thicker than I would have liked. I am showing you two coats with a glossy top coat here.
The speckled pink glow effect is very cool and quite bright in the dark.
Warm state is a light bubblegum pink and the cold start is a darker carnation pink.
Pantsuit Nation - A soft yellow-green crelly filled with gold and copper shimmer that glow bright green in the dark. The color shift is nice with this thermal. All of the shades it transitions through are pretty. The formula was slightly thick but still easy to work with. I am showing you two coats with glossy top coat.
The glow effect on this shade is super bright. Probably the brightest of the bunch for me.
Warm state with a pale muted yellow. Cold state is s a sea foam green. In between, it is more of a pistachio green.
I really like this collection. You get so many looks out of each polish. My faves are Pantsuit Nation and Nevertheless, She Persisted. This collection is available right now. The polishes retail for $14 each. I did not see an option on the website to purchase the whole collection. Which ones will you be picking up?
