Today, I have a fun collection from Essie with vibrant creme shades inspired by road trips to Baja, California. These six colors are bright and opaque with a surprisingly great formula. Not your typical pastels for the season. These colors will be available through the end of the month, but will work for any season. Let's take a look!
b'aha moment - A raspberry creme. This color leans more red than pink. The formula is amazing. This is just one coat I am showing you here! It is nice and shiny on its own but I doe have a glossy top coat on over all of the swatches.
backseat besties - A bubblegum pink creme. This is the color I think of when someone says pink. It is slightly blue toned and very girly. The formula was a little bit streaky on the first coat but evened out well on the second. I have topped it with a glossy top coat.
on the roadie - A bright green creme. This green is slightly blue toned, almost a clover or kelly green. The formula was great with this one, too. I am showing you two coats with a glossy top coat here but you could definitely get away with one if you were careful with application.
designated dj - A deep wine creme. Now this is a sexy shade! It is vampy but still colorful. It does not look black on the nails. The color is definitely purple but it does have more red in it. Like a plum. This is best at two coats.
all the wave - A bright blue creme. The polish is perfection! It is a stunning blue that everyone loves. Bright and bold cobalt with a hint of grey. The formula was fantastic. I only needed one coat for full opacity but I did top it with a glossy top coat.
excuse me, sur - A peachy pink creme. I enjoy this color. It isn't exactly pink but it isn't exactly peach. It is a good mix of them both. The formula was a touch streaky on the first coat but evened out well enough on the second. I topped it off with a glossy top coat.
