Pahlish - Life Aquatic Collection

I have been battling strep throat most of the week and am finally feeling like a normal human again.  So let's start the week off with a shiny collection from Pahlish.  The Life Aquatic Collection is a group of 6 polishes with the same finish just in different colors.  The finish is a bright, shiny foil flake metallic.  Like super shiny!  I didn't include macro shots in this post because the polishes wee just so shiny that they made my macro lens freak out.  There is no glitter in these shades so application and removal is easy.  To not repeat myself a bunch of times, all of these swatches are with two coats and a glossy top coat.  I will let you know if there were any deviations from the norm in the individual descriptions.  These babies are available now, so let's take a look!

Rebel Rebel - A grass green foil flake metallic.  This green color changes depending on the lighting.  In bright light it is much more vibrant but in lower light it leans more olive.  Smooth application and pretty darn opaque.  You could get away with one coat if you were careful.

Life on Mars - A bright coppery toned burnt orange foil flake metallic.  Molten copper nails!  This color is great.  It is right between an orange and a copper.  Application was great, not too brushstrokey.

Team Zissou - A turquoise foil flake metallic.  I am sure this is a crowd favorite.  The color is bright and fun.  The formula was sheerer that the darker shades in this collection but still covered great in two coats.

Space Oddity - A silver toned dusty purple foil flake metallic.  This shade is very cool and icy!  The other colors in this collection seem to lean more on the warmer side but this one is definitely cool.  The formula was slightly more sheer than the others but still covered nicely in two coats.

Quicksand - A medium rose pink foil flake metallic.  This color is girly and sweet.  I think it would look great on many skin tones.  Good formula and application.

Lady Stardust - A deep grape purple foil flake metallic.  This one is a beauty!  It is very deep and vampy and probably the least shiny.  I did two coats for this swatch but I could have easily gotten away with just one.

So there is the Life Aquatic Collection!  All of these shades are winners but my faves are Life on Mars and Lady Stardust.  Which ones are your favorites?  These are available now from the Pahlish website for $11 each.
