I have even more awesome polishes from Great Lakes Lacquer to share with you today. the My Winter Survival Kit Collection is a quad of sparkly polishes in blues and purples and silver. They all go well together and have wonderful formulas. Perfect for all year! These babies are available right now, so let's get into the swatches.
Fuzzy Socks - A deep red toned purple jelly with bright purple shimmer and ultraholographic silver microflakies. Lovely, squishy formula on this shade and I like the warm tone of this purple. Very pretty! I am showing you two coats with a glossy top coat here.
Cuddly Soft Covers - A dark royal purple leaning indigo jelly with bright blue flecks, ultra holographic silver microflakies and a subtle linear holo effect. This is a great dark shade for winter! It is dark but definitely looks blue on the nail even in low lighting. Superb formula here. I am showing you two coats with a glossy top coat in these swatches.
Thick Ice - A turquoise blue jelly with purple/blue shimmery flecks, ultra holographic silver microflakies and a soft linear holo effect. Mermaid nails! Everyone loves teal colors like this. The formula was wonderful as usual. Two coats with a glossy top coat here.
Freshly Fallen Snow - A metallic silver holographic polish with silver ultra holographic microflakies. I am loving this super silvery polish. It is perfect for winter and the holiday season. It applies very smoothly but may be a little sheer. I only needed two coats for opacity on my nails but if you have longer nails you may want to do three coats. Gorgeous!
The Winter Survival Kit is available right now. You can get the full quad for $40 or buy them individually for $11 each. I really like all four of these but if I had to choose a favorite, I would pick Freshly Fallen Snow. It's just so shiny! Also, don't forget to pick up "Scruffers" while you are shopping on the Great Lakes Lacquer site. It is a collaboration shade with them which is limited edition. Learn more about it here and enter my giveaway!
