Today, I have a fun collection from Pahlish to share with you all. This collection of 8 new shades is inspired by the Wizard of Oz. There is something for everyone in this collection. Jellies and crellies and holos...oh my! I am late getting my review out to you as this collection released a few weeks ago. But you are in luck, because they are on sale right now. These will likely not be restocked, so if you see something you like, be sure to snag it. Let's take a look!
Saint Glinda - A smokey purple with linear holographic shimmer, shifting pink flakies and red ultrachrome flakies. This one is so pretty and a crowd favorite. The holo effect is quite strong and the deeper color makes it perfect for fall. Smooth formula but slightly sheer. I am showing you three coats with a glossy top coat here.
My Sister's Shoes - A bright silver metallic microshimmer with scattered holographic effect and a blue/green flash. This one is another stunner! The is super sparkly but isn't a glitter. It applies smoothly and removes easily. It, too, is on the sheer side. I have one three coats with a glossy top coat in these photos.
Yellow Brick Road - A warm chartreuse leaning yellow jelly packed with silver flecks and holographic shimmer. This color is hard to describe. It's yellow but green. It's ugly but pretty. It's pretty awesome. I love these types of shades. The sparkle is nice as well. Smooth formula. I am showing you three coats with a glossy top coat here.
Elphaba Lives! - A pistachio green crelly with teal/blue/copper ultrachrome flakies. I had some issues with green pigment blobs in this bottle which caused some streaking. The base is pretty opaque and I only needed two coats for full opacity but I did three coats here trying to cover over the streaks. I haven't seen streaks in over swatches I have seen, so this may have just been my bottle.
Lurline - A soft purple leaning periwinkle with soft linear holo effect and pink/purple flash and pink microflakies. Another pretty, shimmering shade. The formula on this was quite nice with almost a jelly consistency. I am showing you three coats with a glossy top coat here.
Dorothy Gale - A robin's egg blue creme with blue and gold flakes. This is a pretty srpingtime color. The formula was fine and it self leveled well. It is not a super unique shade but still very pretty. I am showing you two coats with a glossy top coat here.
Munchkinland - An off white crelly base with metallic copper flakies of varying sizes. I really enjoy these types of polishes. It is neutral yet interesting. The formula was pretty good for a white polish. The base was opaque enough to cover the nail but still allowed the copper flakes to shine through. I am showing you three coats with a glossy top coat.
Blood and Rubies - A raspberry jelly base with purple, red and golden flakies. Super squishy! I like this jelly formula and it applied very nicely. I did need three coats for full opacity. All topped off with a glossy top coat.
What do you think of this collection? I am totally digging Yellow Brick Road and Saint Glinda. All of these polishes are available now. They are on sale for $9 each currently. Which will you be picking up?
