Today, I have the newest collection from Nine Zero Lacquer to share with you all. This is a small collection of 4 polishes that were inspired by Jess's recent vacation to Hawaii. All of the colors represent a special part of the islands. These are all shimmery and quite pretty. The collection is available right now, so let's take a look at these babies.
Volcanic - A rusty red crelly with gold and copper microshimmer. I really like the orange undertones of this shade. The shimmer is nice and much more apparent in person. The formula was slightly thick but still easy to apply. I am showing you two thick coats with a glossy top coat.
Trade Winds - A light blue jelly packed with holographic shimmer and small shreds, some slight gold shimmer and small shifting transparent flakies. This one is on the sheer side, like the shimmering waters it was inspired by. I needed three coats for the opacity that I liked. This is all topped with a glossy top coat.
Black Cove - A deep black jelly with silver holographic microglitter and shreds. The shimmery bits in this polish are a little on the sparse side which I like. This polish is much more pretty in person than it is in my photos. The formula was nice. This is two thick coats with a glossy top coat.
Coconut - A cream colored creme pack with a gold microshimmer. There is a ton if shimmer in this polish which makes the formula a little difficult. I needed three coats to even everything out and I needed to be very careful with my application to not get lumps and balding. If you normally do thin coats, you might have an easier time than me. This is topped with a glossy top coat.
So what do you think about this little quad? My fave is Volcanic with Black Cove a close second. You can get this collection now for $40 or buy them individually for $10 each. Be sure to check out the Polish of the Month page on the Nine Zero site. Lots of pretty holos are released each month.
Thanks friends!

I like Trade Winds and Black Cove. Coconut looks like two different colors in both pictures.
ReplyDeleteThere is so much gold in the polish that is looks more yellow from further away but when you get up close you can see the white and yellow separately.
