Today, I have some pretty polishes from Glam Polish to share with you. This awesome Aussie indie brand is releasing a new collection, It's Only A Dream Alice, on June 3rd. The collection is inspired by Tim Burton's take on Alice in Wonderland. There are a total of nine polishes in this collection and I have 6 of them to share with you. Overall, I am super impressed with these. They are very opaque and very sparkly...just what I have grown to expect from Glam Polish. Let's take a look!
A Place Called Wonderland - A deep magenta pink with a subtle linear holographic effect that is packed with shimmery glass flecks and holo microglitter. This polish is very opaque! I personally was happy with one coat but I did two coats with a glossy top coat for this swatch. Very pretty and girly.
Down the Rabbit Hole - A bright grass green with a slightly turquoise feel. This is basically the same as the previous polish with a subtle linear holographic effect, shimmery glass flecks and holo microglitter. The formula was very opaque as well. You could totally get away with one coat. I did two coats with a glossy top coat here.
The Wrong Alice - A nice cerulean blue with a subtle linear holographic effect. It, too, is packed with shimmery glass flecks and holo microglitters. This blue is very pretty! Again, super opaque and you could definitely get away with one coat. Here, I have two coats with a glossy top coat.
Liars! Cheaters! Falsifiers! - A Queen of Hearts inspired holographic microglitter. Yep...I love this one. It screams "Off with their heads!" with the red, black and white microglitters. Again, very opaque with just two coats needed for full opacity. It will dry a little bit textured with all of the microglitters, so a glossy top coat is recommended.
The Best Futterwacken in All of Witzend - A linear holographic base mixed with a rainbow of metallic and neon microglitters. I think this polish is super fun and a lot of people will love it. Again, nice and opaque with full opacity in just two coats. A glossy top coat was added to smooth out the microglitters.
Six Impossible Things - A ethereal silver holographic base with pink semitransparent hexes and pink glass flecks. It is so girly and delicate, I am in love. You would think this would be pretty sheer but it was opaque in just two coats for me. I did use a glossy top coat here but it was pretty smooth on it's own.
So there are the six polishes from the collection that I have to share. There are three more not featured here; two more jewel toned colors and one more ethereal holo with semitransparent glitters. The It's Only a Dream Alice Collection is launching on June 3rd a 2pm EST. Glam Polish is an Australian brand but they have a warehouse here in the states so shipping is not bad at all. They typically have an option to purchase entire collections or individual polishes. Which ones are you going to be picking up? I am going to be wearing "Six Impossible Things" again very soon!
