Nine Zero Lacquer - Spring 2016 Collection

Hi loves!

Is it starting to feel like Spring where you are?  I live in Florida, so we don't really have typical seasons.  But I have the Spring bug and am loving the cool and breezy weather.  This new Spring collection from Nine Zero Lacquer expresses my feelings about Spring in polish.  They are colorful but not too pastel.  They are delicate but still sparkly as hell.  There are five shades in this collection and I have a hard time choosing a favorite.  These are available for pre-order right now, so lets take a closer look at these pretties!

Nine Zero Lacquer - Spring 2016 Collection - McPolish

"Full Bloom" is a light pink jelly packed with tiny square holographic microglitter.  The pink base has a little bit of a lavender or blue tint to it which makes it more cool toned.  Girly and pretty!  I did two coats with a glossy top coat here.  Because of all the glitter, it can dry a tiny bit gritty so a good top coat is recommended.  It wouldn't call them textured but it isn't perfectly smooth without a top coat.

"Annual March Blizzard" is a grey toned baby blue jelly packed with the same tiny square holo microglitter.  This is the sheerest of all of the colors in the collection as the jelly base color is the lightest.  I used two coats with a top coat here and was happy with the opacity.  But you may want to do three coats if you want a fuller coverage.  All of the sparkle distracts from any gaps in the glitter, in my opinion.

"Let It Rain" is an aqua jelly packed with tiny square holographic microglitter.  This color is very similar to Annual March Blizzard but it more teal leaning and the base it a little more opaque.  As I am writing this, I am thinking of a nice gradient manicure using those two shades.  (add that to the list of things to do!)  I did two coats with a glossy top coat for this swatch.

"New Growth" is a pale green jelly packed with holographic microglitter in tiny squares.  I would call the color of this base celery green with a slight yellow tone.  This one was a little more sheer but I was still happy with the coverage on two coats.  If you are afraid of wearing green polish, I think this color may be one for you to try.

"Iris" is a purple jelly packed with tony square holographic micorglitter.  This is the darkest base of the bunch.  The purple color is very pretty and has a little hint of royal blue in there.  Purple polish lovers are going to love this one!  I did two coats with a glossy top coat for this swatch.

So what do you think!?  I dig this little collection.  All of the colors are great for Spring without being your typical pastel colors.  I am going to say my fave is New Growth but all of them are seriously great.  This collection is available for pre-order right now.  You can get each polish individually for $10 each or purchase the entire collection for $45.  That is a savings of $5!  Probably should get them all ;)
