Tonight, I have a small little collection of pastel neon cremes from Doctor Lacquer to share with you. At first glance, these may look similar to the Scubahola Collection but they are not glow-in-the-dark, just plain cremes. These set of five bright pastel shades are great for both spring and summer. I can't wait to wear some of these on my toes this summer! The Exotic Collection is inspired by exotic fruits from around the world. I had to look up each one of them because I had never heard of them. Let's take a look at these fun colors!
For each of these swatches, I have a little accent nail of a swirly watermarble using all five colors from the collection. Not my best watermarble but it isn't the worst, lol. First up, we have "Duku" which is a lemon yellow creme. This had pretty nice coverage for a yellow polish. I did three thin coats with a glossy top coat here. It has a little bit a of orange tint to it and can be streaky on first application.
This pretty, bubblegum pink creme is "Makopa". This color will look so great with tanned summer skin! The formula was good, a little streaky on the first coat but evened out nicely on the second. A glossy top coat make it shine.
"Feijoa" is a minty aqua creme. I really liked this color. It is bright and pastel at the same time. I did two coats with a glossy top coat here. The formula was similar to the rest, a little streaky on the first coat but evens out with the second.
This lilac creme is "Caimito" and it is lovely! It is a great color for spring and a must have for any nail polish lover. The first coat was a little streaky but the second coat smoothed it all out nicely. I did top this with a glossy top coat.
"Mamey" is another pink toned creme in this collection. The color of this polish leans much more coral than plain pink. I totally dig it but I am a huge coral fan. This is another shade that would look great with a summer tan. I did two coats with a glossy top coat here.
The Exotic Collection launches this Saturday, March 26th, at noon EDT. Doctor Lacquer has both full sized bottles (16.5ml) and a mid-sized bottle (10.5ml). Bigger than a mini and really the perfect amount of polish for a addict like me. If you are interested in winning this entire collection, head over the Doctor Lacquer's Instagram for a giveaway.
