Pahlish - There is a Song Collection

Happy Valentine's Day!

I hope you are all having a lovely day and spending time with your bestest bests.  Once you are all done with your holiday time, head over to Pahlish to get your hands on a brand new collection releasing tonight.  Pahlish is a machine.  They pump out amazing polishes every month and they never disappoint.  The 'There is a Song' collection is a set of 6 polishes that definitely have a wintery vibe.  There is a mix of jellies and cremes with tons of shimmer and sparkle.  Let's take a look!

Pahlish - There is a Song Collection - McPolish

"Impossible Astronaut" is a grayed out nude creme with tiny silver microflakie shimmer.  The distribution of the shimmer flakies is perfect!  The base color in this polish is a cool tones grey/tan which I find very flattering for winter.  Formula is great.  It was thick and creamy and opaque in 2 coats.  I topped this off with Frenzy Polish Quick Dry Top Coat.

"Spoilers" is a deep raspberry jelly packed with sheer whitish flakes.  Since the flakes are wuch a light color, they take on the shade of the jelly base and deepen depending on how many coats you apply.  I did two thicker coats for this swatch but if you did three thinner coats you would get more depth of color in the flakes.  Very pretty!  I used Frenzy Polish Quick Dry and NYC Matte Me Crazy top coats.

"Stormcage" is a deep cool toned blurple packed with metallic silver flakies and pink/violet/purple iridescent flakies.  This is so cool looking!  Again, wonderful distribution of sparkles in this polish.  I did two thicker coats for this swatch and was happy with the opacity.  The matte version looks amazing.  I used Frenzy Polish Quick Dry and NYC Matte Me Crazy top coats here.

"Hello Sweetie" is a lilac creme with a mix of small and large metallic silver flakes and tiny bright blue-violet shimmer.  This is a special polish for sure.  It is perfect for winter and spring.  The formula was good but was slightly streaky.  I did two thick coats but I would recommend three thinner coats for even distribution.  I topped this off with Frenzy Polish Quick Dry Top Coat.

"Singing Towers" is a warm, rich brown jelly packed with red and copper ultrachrome flakies and a little bit of silver holographic sparks.  Oh yes!  Brown jellies are my jam!  Haha.  This is a lovely polish but has more of a fall feel than winter or spring.  Nice jelly formula here.  I did 2.5 coats for this swatch.  There were a few places that needed a little extra coverage but not a full coat.  I did this one mattified as well.  The glossy top coat is Frenzy Polish Quick Dry and the matte is NYC Matte Me Crazy.

"Melody Malone" is a grayed out purple packed with soft pink and champagne shimmer.  Perfection!  This is a classic Pahlish shimmer formula.  Perfect in two coats.  I have been on a huge grayed out purple kick this year and I don't think it is stopping anytime soon.  So chic.  I topped with with Frenzy Polish Quick Dry Top Coat.
