It is actually starting to be a little chilly this weekend/week. Now, in Florida, that means temperatures in the 50s which is not cold at all. But it got me all excited for "winter" (haha, Florida doesn't have winter!). And in winter, we like to wear deep toned colors, icy blues and grays and nudes. At least I do. And this Fall/Winter 2015 Collection from Lisa Nail Lacquer fits the bill! I am a big fan of Lisa's nail polishes. Her cremes and shimmers have a great formula and are 100% vegan, cruelty free and non-toxic. I adored the Spring/Summer Collection and I adore this new collection just as much! I hope you do, too. Let's take a look!
"Sorry, Not Sorry" is a completely gorgeous deep purple shimmer. This shade of purple is warm and leans a little more red which I love. The shimmer is divine and gives the formula a little bit of thickness that makes it easy to apply. No running or pooling and it is nicely opaque. I did two coats with a glossy top coat for this swatch.
"But First, Coffee" is a creamy cafe au lait nude polish. This one is delicious, too. I am always on the lookout for perfect nude polishes. This one compliments my skin tone nicely and I think it would look nice on darker skin tones as well. Great formula, this was just two coats topped with a glossy top coat.
"Hey Girl, Hey" is a medium grey creme with a hint of army green in there. This color is definitely grey but in some lights it looks a little green and at other times it looks a little blue. Again, another creamy and opaque formula. I did two easy coats with a glossy top coat here.
"Bye Felicia" is a deep olive green with a strong golden shimmer. I am very happy with the shimmer in this color. It was bold and apparent but did not leave brush strokes. Nail polish colors like this are classic for fall. I did two coats with a glossy top coat for this swatch, no troubles at all.
The Fall/Winter 2015 Collection is available now from Lisa's online store. These polishes sell individually for $7 each and the entire collection for $35. Orders over $40 can get free shipping, just use code FREESHIP when you check out. Also, be sure to follow Lisa Nail Lacquer on their social media outlets for info on sales and upcoming collections.
