Time for more holiday inspired indie nail polish collections! Today, I have the first Christmas collection from new comer Nine Zero Lacquer. Jessica has created a collection of 6 different polishes that are super sparkly and perfect for the season. Everything is better with glitter, right? The Nine Zero Lacquer Holiday Collection has been launched. People are crazy about this new brand so make sure you are following them on social media to keep up to date on restocks and preorders. Let's take a look at these pretties!
"Cat in the Christmas Tree" is a green jelly base with gold holographic ultra fine microglitter throughout. You can't have a red polish in a holiday collection without the green! I love love love this green. It screams Christmas. It has the same formula as Santa Suit; good with a slightly gritty feel when it dried down. A glossy top coat smoothed it out nicely. The gold glitter is a little more apparent and looks slightly larger than the glitter in Santa Suit. I used two coats here.
"Twinkle Lights" is a silvery linear holographic packed with a rainbow of semi-transparent hex glitters. Wow! I can honestly say that I do not have anything else like this polish in my collection. The base is clear with a dense silver linear holographic pigment. Then it is packed with a these super cool see-thru glitters. I didn't think this would get fully opaque but it sure did! Rainbows on top of rainbows. I used two coats with a glossy top coat for this swatch. I am sure you could use this as a topper over another color but I just had to use this on it's own. I took these photos with straight on lighting and then with off set lighting to show you the crazy rainbows.
"A Peculiar Star" is a deep blue jelly jam packed with blue holographic microglitter. This is stunning. The deep color of the base is so bold and the holographic nature of the glitters makes they shift from blue to aqua under the blue jelly. Ugh...so pretty. I should have taken a video to show the twinkling glitters. I guess you will just need to get it yourself to see :) I used two thicker coats fro this swatch with two coats of glossy top coat. The glitters made this dry down quite gritty. The double top coat was needed to make it smooth and glassy.
"Stocking Stuffer" is a classic Christmas glitter topper with red, green, silver, gold and white glitters of various sizes and shapes. This topper would look great over all of the typical Christmas colors like red, green, white and gold. I chose to use it over nude because it makes all of the colors pop. The glitter is very dense and went on smoothly with no fishing. I used one coat over OPI Glints of Glinda. The macro are with a glossy top coat and a matte top coat.
"Star on Top" is a gold holographic microglitter in a clear base. Who doesn't love a good gold holographic glitter? If you don't already have a similar polish, you should totally snag this one. The glitter is super dense and can be worn alone for full coverage in three coats or lightly used over a base as a topper. Here a I have just that, alone on the two middle nails and one coat over Zoya Pepper on the other nails. All topped with a glossy top coat.
