KBShimmer Winter 2015 Crelly Polishes

I have another handful of polishes from the KBShimmer Winter 2015 Collection to share with you tonight.  These four polishes are all a crelly formula.  A Crelly is a cross between an opaque creme polish and a sheer jelly polish.  They are typically opaque in 2-3 coats but still have a squishy quality to them.  KBShimmer is known for their amazing crelly with glitter polishes and these four are no exception.  These are all from the winter collection but they aren't colors that scream Christmas.  They would work well year round.  Let's take a look at the squishies!

"How Corn-y" is a crelly with glitter polish that in inspired by Indian Corn.  The crelly base is a pale yellow nude which is the perfect back drop for the fall colored glitters of burgundy, gold, purple, red and brown.  Application was great, nice and smooth and the glitter didn't bunch up.  I did three coats here topped with KBShimmer's Clearly on Top quick dry top coat.  I am digging this color combo!

"Brr-tiful Dreamer" is a grayed out purple crelly packed with blue, aqua, purple and fuchsia glitters.  The crelly base was much more opaque compared to How Corn-y.  I was able to get it completely opaque in 2 coats.  Because it is a little less squishy, the glitters are a little more noticable when it dries, so a good top coat is recommended.  I used Clearly on Top here.  I think this is a great color for winter and the transition into spring.  It's almost grey....and I love me some grey polish.

"Smoke Signal" is a light grey crelly with an intersting mix of glitters in orange, aqua, charcoal, and red.  The formula is much closer to the jelly side of the crelly scale so it is extra squishy.  Applying this polish transported me back to when I first started getting into indie polishes.  I have been in love with grey jellies with glitter ever since.  I hardly ever wear them anymore but my love has been rekindled with Smoke Signal.  I did two super smooth coats topped with Clearly on Top for this swatch.

"Owl Miss You" is a special twist on the traditional crelly with glitter polish.  The cool toned nude crelly is packed with gold, copper and olive colored metallic flakies.  The flakies are very small and make this polish so interesting.  It looks different in every lighting.  I really like these work appropriate polish colors that have a little twist to make them special.  I used two coats of Owl Miss You topped with one coat of Clearly on Top.  What do you think about crellies with ultrachrome flakies?
