Loaded Lacquer - The Z Collection

This post comes after a particularly disturbing episode of The Walking Dead last night. (No spoilers here, don't worry).  But today, we are talking about zombies.  And by zombies I mean Loaded Lacquers newest collection, The Z Collection.  Heather has put together a little quad of polishes inspired by her love for those creepy little creatures...the undead.  And how fitting that we are talking about zombies the same week of Halloween (aka the funnest holiday ever).  I have all four of the polishes to share with you.  This collection consists of 2 holographic polishes, 1 new jiggle and 1 jiggle with flakies.  The Z Collection is launching on Wednesday, so let's take a look at these babies so you can decide which ones to snag!

"Z" is the newest jiggle that Heather has added to her army of jelly polishes.  It is a dark green jelly polish that looks like it has a little bit of brown in it.  It's dark and dirty!  I used it to create a jelly sandwich manicure with another Loaded Lacquer polish, "North of the Arctic Circle."  There is two coats of "Z" then one coat of "North of the Arctic Circle" then another coat of "Z" on top.  I am showing you both the glossy and matte versions here.  It's a lovely green jelly.  I am sure this will be popular this Christmas. 

Loaded Lacquer has released three green jiggles (well technically 4 if you count the mint one, but that isn't anything like the rest of the greens) over the past year.  I wanted to show you them all together so you can see which you need (all of them, duh!).  Here is "Noble Fir", "Z" and "Green Straw" all in three coats with a glossy top coat.

"Orange-flesh" is a deep orange jelly polish with gold iridescent flakes.  The flakes are larger but are the stiff shreds that stick up all over the place.  These flakes are kind of shy for the camera but trust me they are very visible in real life.  I used two thick coats for this swatch but three thinner coats may be better for some.  We have a glossy and a matte top coat look here.

"Bodies" is a deep purple with amazing shimmer and a soft holographic finish.  The purple has a nice dusty quality that makes it a great color for the fall.  I used two coats with a glossy top coat for this swatch.  Nice and opaque and a dream to apply.

"Unleashed Chaos" is such a stunner!  It is a teal blue base with a super strong linear holographic shimmer.  Talk about rainbows!  And the blue streak that flashes in the holo rainbow is fantastic.  When you look at this polish in the bottle it looks like any other blue holo.  But it looks so interesting on the nail!  Again, the formula was great and I only used two coats with a glossy top coat for these photos.

So how about those holos?  So pretty, right?  They are my fave of this little collection.  The Z Collection is launching at 6pm CDT on Wednesday, Oct 28th.  Let me know if you pick up any of these beauties!
