I have been keeping up with the 31 Day Nail Art Challenge but I haven't had time to post everything here. So to make up for that, I am going to do 5 days recaps of the prompts to share with you here. Don't forget, you can stay up to date each day on my Instagram account if you like. Since I will be showing many different polishes and nail art supplies in this post, I will note which items I received for review in each mani description if indicated. The first 10 days of the challenge are prompts based on colors and are the easiest to complete in my opinion. Let me know which looks are your favorite!
Day 1: Red Nails
I have already done a full post on this look, so please check it out here. The base polish is a sparkly red from Polish My Life called "My Red Room" and the silver sparkle dots is "Cha-ching" by Pipe Dream Polish. Stamping plate used was Pueen 54.
Day 2: Orange Nails
This, too, was already posted with more detail on the blog here. I used two holographic from Cirque Colors for this blobbicure look. The orange is "Valencia" and the blue is "Twilight".
Day 3: Yellow Nails
For this look, I used a pale yellow base of Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear "Teeny Bikini" and painted a stripe of Glitter Daze "Interstellar Dragon" which is such a fun ultrachrome metallic flakie polish. I added a little duochrome rhinestone to top it off. Then of course...MATTE ALL THE FLAKIES! (flakie topper was provided for review)
Day 4: Green Nails
On this day, I nubbinized and went simple. Vinyl nail stencils have totally changed the nail art scene. I just love them! These days, they are't just chevrons and straight lines. There are plethora of fun designs to choose from. For this mani, I used a base of Digital Nails "Glam Stoker" then placed Stuck on Love Nail Shields from Love, Angeline over it along with a thick coat of Zoya "Hunter". Then I gently peeled off the vinyl and boom...easy hexagon nails! (vinyls provided for review)
Day 5: Blue Nails
Let me tell you how much I loved my blue nails! Wow...so pretty. What made this mani so awesome was the blue floral water slide decals from KBShimmer. The were super easy to use and instantly made my mani special. The decals had a clear background so it allowed the pretty lavendar shade of my base color shine through. The base is Zoya "Miley". (decals provided for review)
So which look was your favorite? Which design do you think you would like to try yourself? If you recreate any of my looks, be sure to tag it with #McSpiration on Instagram so I can easily find them. Stay tuned for the next 5 days of the challenge!
Much love,
