Tonight, I have a stunning trio of polishes to share with you. This is the first time I am sharing this brand on the blog which is weird because I am a little obsessed with their polishes. Glam Polish is an Australian indie nail polish brand that cranks outs amazing collections like nobody's business. They always have to most interesting mixes of holographic bits and super sparkly finishes. I have not been dissatisfied with any purchase so far. Sometimes, I have to physically stop myself from going on the Glam Polish website because I know that I can't leave without trying to fill up a cart with pretties. (confession...I have managed to fill up a cart as I write this because I had to go copy links from their page...so bad!) I purchased the Think Pink trio when it launched a few months ago. They have since come out with another trio with the same polishes as this trio but in blue. I am pretty sure they are going to continue this trio theme, so if you like these pink babies, check out their other colors. The Think Pink Trio is limited edition but is currently still available on the site. Get your grabby hands ready after you check out my swatches!
"Heart Breaker" is a raspberry pink linear holographic polish with tiny coppery microflakies. The formula was fantastic! I did two coats with a top coat for this swatch but I honestly almost stopped at one. So smooth and the holographic shimmer was very prominent. If you like linear holos, you will love this one!
"It's A Secret" is an orchid pink crelly packed with multichrom metallic flakies, bright blue flashing flakies and fine holographic shimmer. The formula on this one was also great. It went on smoothly and was more than opaque in 2 coats. you might be able to get away with one careful thick coat. I love the addition of the multichrome flakies. I think they look so great mixed in with colored bases. Very cool!
"Crystal Couture" is a super sparklefest on your nails! This polish is very difficult fro me to describe and even more difficult to capture the awesomeness on camera. You know...the more amazing a polish is the harder it is to get an accurate photograph of it. I think the base is holographic silver, but it could be clear. There is so much glitter packed into this polish that I can't really tell what color the base is! There are silver and pink and orchid holographic glitters of small and micro sizes. There are some glass fleck particle in there, too. But the most stunning element for me was the intensely bright shifty pink shimmer. It is not super apparent in my photos but is stunning in real life. I have two coats with a top coat on my nails for this swatch but I wore this as a full many several weeks prior and only used one coat for full coverage. I wore it to the beach and pretty much blinded myself the entire day staring at my nails. I love this one so much! My photos do not do it the justice it deserves.
The Think Pink Trio is still available from the Glam Polish store for $33 for the set. You can purchase the polishes individually for $11 each. They are limited edition so once they are sold out they will be gone for good. If you are in Australia or the United States, you can order directly from their website. They have several international stockists for other countries to order from. (I am not certain if all of the stockists carry this trio)
