Today, I have a new-to-me indie polish brand to share with you. Chirality Polish is husband and wife team that started making handmade nail polish after Amanda ended her chemo treatments. She is cancer free and pumping out some beautiful polishes. This new collection, El Amor De Mi Vida Colección, is a group of 5 holographic polishes in darker tones. "Mamacita Rica" is my favorite of the collection. This is a rosy nude toned polish with some great shimmers running through. There is a soft linear holographic shimmer through out but then there is also some bright fuchsia pink and gold and maybe bright blue microflakie shimmer in there too. I wore this for two days and I was staring at my nails at every stop light. Haha! I used two coats with a glossy top coat for this mani. These polishes are quite opaque and I could have gotten away with one careful coat. Try to paint in the lines as the dense shimmer in these polishes makes clean up a pain if you are messy.
"Hablé de Ti" is a dark, charcoal grey polish with a strong linear holographic shimmer. This polish is also packed with bright blue shifting microflakies throughout. It really makes this polish change colors in different lighting and angles. Again, very opaque and potentially a one coater. I used two in this swatch, though. The shimmer is intense, so don't paint sloppily because you will be cleaning up shimmer forever!
"Estoy Loco por Ti" is an interesting addition to this collection. It is a light blue almost metallic polish with a linear holographic shimmer. There are also bright blue microflakies and golden shimmer throughout. I used two coats with a glossy top coat for this swatch. Since the base of this polish is a little metallic, be careful with your brush strokes as they will be much more noticeable. Isn't this polish interesting??
"Cariño" is the brightest of the collection. I was so impressed with this bright blue polish with a super strong linear holographic flash. So stunning! I used two coats with a glossy top coat. The shimmer in this polish was so dense that it almost looked like a clear based polish jam packed with tiny shimmer pieces. You might see some stray shimmer around my cuticles...I was sloppy with my application and got too much shimmer outside the lines. Be careful with your application to avoid this. But man is this pretty!
