OPI The Spy Who Loved Me Swatches

Sometimes, when I'm having a bad day/week, nothing cheers me up more than a good red manicure. Red is my favorite nail color; it's eye catching, powerful, classic, and just a little bit sexy. OPI The Spy Who Loved Me is all of these things and more.

The Spy Who Loved Me is a dense red bright jelly loaded with gold shimmer. The shimmer is made up of larger particles, more like little flakeys than shimmer. Overall the finish reminds me of a glass fleck since it is so loaded with shimmer. It's an absolutely gorgeous color. The red is a blue-leaning red, and man is it vivid! Like most OPI formulas, this was smooth and easy to apply two opaque coats.

This polish was originally released as part of the Skyfall holiday 2012 collection, but as such a bright red it reminds me more of a summer color, and I can't wait to break it out this summer!
