The bottles come wrapped beautifully in lacy fabric and tied with a bow. I really loved this cute touch.
Today I'll be showing you Santa's Lil Devil, a beautiful bright pink-toned red jelly polish filled with metallic red glitter. The glitter is a little bit of a darker red than the jelly, and it creates a very pretty and unique look. When I first opened the polishes, I didn't think much of Santa's Lil Devil in the bottle, mostly because it looked like it might be sheer, boy was I wrong.
The formula was nice and thick while still retaining a jelly-like quality to it. The first photos are with two coats and no top coat to show you just how opaque the polish is. I would normally stop at two coats, but since there was a slight visible nail line I added a third. If you have shorter nails you will only need two. It dries very smooth and I only needed a normal top-coat to smooth out any bumpiness.

The pictures really don't do it justice. The polish has so much depth with the suspended glitter. What I love most about this red jelly is that it applied so evenly with no sheer spots, which often isn't the case with reds.
I am really loving this red and I'm sure it will be making a reappearance in my life this holiday season. I'm also excited to see what Neener Neener Nails has in store for us in the future!
Neener Neener Nails are available from their Etsy store and full sized bottles are currently on sale for $6 USD. They have a wide variety of polishes and currently only ship within the United States.

ReplyDeleteIt is gorgeous, and even prettier in person when the little metallic glitters catch the light just right!
