I'm not sure when I first thought of this idea, but it all started when I layered a color over red and it accidentally got wrinkled. I mentally re-visited the idea after watching the first two seasons of The Walking Dead and realized just how awesome this could be for a Halloween costume!
I started with one coat of China Glaze High Maintenance (medium red crelly), followed by one coat of piCture pOlish Vampire (sheer blood red). After letting the reds dry for a bit I used two coats of Zoya Shay (my perfect nude, any opaque nude would work). I finished it off with a fast dry top coat (this step is crutial). Once the top layer is fairly dry I just placed a finger on the nail and slid the top layer gently so that it wrinkled without leaving the nail, careful not to rip or fully remove the top layer. Last, I sponged on a bit of brown (OPI Suzi Loves Cowboys) to add to the dirty zombie look.

What do you think? Doesn't this remind you of gross zombies? It's not a practical look for anything other than a costume but it's very unique!
