It only took 5 weeks before I broke out my old standard, the skittlette. This have been one of my most favorite nail art ideas of all time. I generally do my skittlette manicures with two plain nails, two nails with nail art on them and then a textured accent nail. You can do them in any way that you like as long at two nails are the same. For the blue prompt this week, I combined light blue and pink together with some unicorn fun. Let's take a look!
This simple manicure features OPI's "Check Out the Old Geysirs" which is a dusty baby blue creme with a subtle blue sheen. I paired it with some pink metallic unicorn stamping with a plate from Color Club and a sparkling pink textured pinkie using China Glaze "Wish on a Starfish". I think the combo of blue and pink here is perfect for Spring. But it is giving me some Gender Reveal Party vibes. Haha.
Would you rock this blue and pink look yourself? And let me know if you, too, love the skittlette manicure. If you want to see more nail art looks going along with the challenge this year, check out the tag #31DC2018Weekly on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. There is still plenty of time to join if you want. Catch up with us or just do the prompts that you want. Next week is Week 6, Violet Nails!
