Today, I have another oldie to share with you. I don't have any new takkitos to share, so I am going through older polishes that haven't made it on the blog yet. This one I snagged in a destash online. I am always on the hunt! "Dreamcatcher" was originally released in the fall of 2014. She is a teal to magenta metallic multichrome with a sprinkling of holographic shimmer. What is crazy to me, is that this exact polish would be on trend right now. It seems like everyone is doing multichrome shifters with a splash of holo.
Dreamcatcher is primarily a deep emerald color in direct light. But when you catch it at an angle, you can see it shift from teal to emerald to navy to purple to pink to magenta. The formula is quite nice and was opaque in just two coats. No need for a black base here. The finish is slightly metallic so be careful with application to minimize brush strokes.
These last two photos are under two light sources at differing angles to really show off the shift. Very pretty!
I am not sure when or if this polish will be restocked. But there is always a chance! Be sure to follow Takko Lacquer on social media to learn about restocks and new releases. Takko Lacquer will be at the Renegade Craft Fair this weekend in Brooklyn. So if you are in the area, you should totally stop by and say hello to Sheryl and grab some new Takkos!
