I know, I know...it isn't Tuesday. But I was unable to get this post up last night because I was rushing to get out of the door for vacation. Yay! Vacation! So you get this lovely Takko Lacquer creme today on Wednesday. In addition to the newest Gems and Crystals Collection, Takko has released a few new crimes for spring. I am in love with all of the new spring shades, especially the one I am sharing with you today. "Pistachio" is a pale, dusty green creme that looks exactly like what you would expect. It looks like pistachio pudding (which was a huge favorite of mine when I was a kid). The color is great all year round but is particularly perfect for the transition from winter to spring. It is still pastel like while also being slightly grayed out for winter. I love it!
The formula on Pistachio is fantastic. I am showing you one coat with a glossy top coat in these photos. One coat!!! Awesome. To add a little extra special something to this plain creme shade, I decided to dab on some of Peridot to the tips of my nails. This added more green color and extra sparkle. I think these two polishes pair so well together.
