You are in for a real treat today. I have three brand new Takko Lacquer polishes to share with you all! Oh boy :) This month, Takko Lacquer is releasing a new collection called Gems and Crystals. The polishes are all inspired by precious gemstones and beautiful crystals and you can bet your booty that they are gorgeous. Gorgeous! Three of the polishes in this collection will only be available from my favorite stockist, Color4Nails. If you like these three beauties, you will have a window of 2 days to pre-order them. Watermelon Tourmaline - A slightly dusty medium pink jelly base with bright green microshimmer and silver holographic flakies. Total princess nails! The pink is a wonderful shade that is both soft and bright at the same time. And the contrasting green shimmer really makes this polish unique. I have already expressed my love of these soft holographic flakies recently. They just never disappoint. The jelly base was a little bit sheer but applied very smoothly. I am showing you three coats with a glossy top coat here. I have been lusting after a watermelon tourmaline ring every since I saw this one on Etsy ages ago. This polish totally makes we think of that ring!
Alexandrite - An ocean blue jelly base packed with soft silver holographic microflakies and bright purple to aqua shimmer. Damn...this one is super pretty as well! The base color is something many people will just love. Totally mermaid nails! There is a lot of sparkle and shift here as well. The jelly base is a little more opaque than the previous polish and you can defeintiely get away with just two coats. I am showing you three coats here with a glossy top coat. I just liked the additional sparkle the third coat gave me.
Ruby Quartz - A deep cherry red base with subtle holographic shimmer and microglitter that shifts from gold to red. This third polish is a little different than the other two in this set with the addition of actual glitter. The glitters are quite fiery and give is a 'glow from within' quality. It is most opaque of the three as well. I and showing you two coats with a glossy top coat here. The first three photos are under a single direct light while the last two are under two light sources at different angles.
Don't you love these?!? I sure do. Especially that Watermelon Tourmaline and I hardly ever choose the pink polish as my fave. As I stated above, these three polishes is only be available from Color4Nails which is awesome because the ship internationally! There will be a pre-order window open from February 4th through February 6th on the Color4Nails site. They will not be released on the Takko Lacquer site at all. Later in the month, the rest of the Gems and Crystals Collection will be released on the Takko site. Raise your hand if you are getting all three!
