Butter LONDON & Allure Arm Candy Collection and Giveaway!

School has started and hurricane season is upon us.  That means one thing...fall is coming!  Tonight, I have some lovely polishes that are perfect for autumn.  butterLONDON has teamed up with Allure and created the Arm Candy Collection.  This is a collection of 6 full sized, individual nail lacquers and a 4-piece fashion set of smaller bottles.  butterLONDON sent me two sets of the 6 individual polishes, one for me and one for you!  Make sure to check out my giveaway at the end of this post.  This collection is a nice mix of rich cremes, a glitter, a metallic and a sheer.  There is something for everyone this fall here.  Let's take a look!

"Lust or Must?" is a cool toned dark brown creme polish.  This is a beautiful deep color for fall.  The formula was lovely and was almost completely opaque in one coat.  I did use two coats and a gloddy top coat for these swatches.  My photos are showing this a little darker that it was in person.  It still had a brown hue indoors and didn't look like I was wearing plain black polish.  Love it!

"It's Vintage" is a rust colored red creme with an amazing formula.  This is such a great color for fall!  I used two coats with a glossy top coat but could have gotten away with one thick coat.  I can't wait to do some fall leaves nail art with with color and "Lust or Must?"  Even though this color may not appeal to everyone, I think it will go well with many skin tones.

"Statement Piece" is a fiery red creme polish.  This is bright and bold with a little orange undertone.  Usually, I find these colors a little sheer but I was pleasantly surprised with this one. Two coats and it was full opaque but still had a bit of a squishy quality to it.  The orange hint makes it much more of an autumn red than a Christmas red.  The color and formula is very similar to Ladybird which I shared with you earlier, but Statement Piece is definitely more orange tinted.  (stalk my Instagram feed for a comparison of them both in the future)

"Nude Stilettos" is a sheer nude pinky-peach crelly polish.  I love a good sheer nude!  It is a nice palate cleanser when you are wearing darker or bright polishes frequently.  Since this is pretty sheer, you can choose how much coverage you would like.  I used two coats with a glossy top coat for this swatch but you could use just one coat for a sheer wash of color (or for a French mani) or two three or four coats for full coverage.  I like to show off my visible nail line (so scandalous!)

"Disco Nap" is a full coverage charcoal glitter polish in a black jelly base.  I used two coats with a glossy top coat but you could wear this without a top coat to have a little bit of a textured effect.  The formula was quite good and was easy to apply even though it was so glitter packed.  I can see this being great for New Year's Eve!

"I'm on the List" is a champagne metallic creme.  Hmmm....not my favorite.  This type of frost finish can be difficult.  You either love it or hate it.  I used two coats with a glossy top coat for this swatch.  The polish had a nice consistency and good coverage.  I tried to be steady with my application to minimize brush strokes.
